Mirena IUD Side Effects: Irregular Bleeding & Pain – What to Do

im really worried abt my condition. i fitted mirena 3 years ago. first 1.5 year wnet ok. periods were mild. then  they remain disapeeared for more than an year.now they started 8 months ago but v irregualar.i had bad pain in lower abdomen n breasts. periods lasted for 9 days or sometimes 3 days n sometimes misse. now this month there is sometimes fresh blood sopts n sometimes brown or yellow color discharge continuos for past 20 days.there is no pain at all. my  gp checked 4 months ago  n diagnosed a thrush which isnt severe. she examined mirena as well.  my age is 29 children two n married( with one partner).

I am not a medical professional but I have studied this subject for 20 years. I don't recommend Mirena or any kind of hormonal birth control method. It is up to you but perhaps you could have mirena removed and try a different kind of birth control method.
