QuestionHi Mr. Borucki, I have a co-worker that has been taking Prednisone since 1996 her doctor recently
told her to discontinue taking it, well she did and she had terrible pains in her legs. Could you tell me the side effects that come with not taking
the Drug, She started taking it again. Any info. is very much appreciated.

AnswerThere can be some problems with potassium when it is discontinued, which could cause some leg cramps. She may have had some arthritis that was suppressed by the prednisone. This is a tough question though, without additional info.... hope this helps....
