Foot Wound Color Changes After Burn: Is It Infected?

Bruned top of right foot about a month ago.  Saw a Dermatologist a week and a half ago.  Told me foot was not infected.  Wound still changes color every so often and there is still a redness around the wound.  Am using Erythromycin and a Soapless Cream Cleansing Milk. Should I be worried?

After a month, infection is not at all likely. The color can change for an indefinite period after a burn depending on its depth. It will be darker when the foot is dependent or hot and lighter when elevated or cold.
Just keep it clean with normal washing. You can us Aloe but otherwise no treatment is needed.
