Migraines and Ear Fluttering: Potential Connection & Relief

Question
Hello.
I have suffered from migraines for some time now. I put this down to the pill so I came off it only to find that everything has improved but my headaches, I still suffer on average twice a week (sometimes more).
My doctor has asked me some questions about my headaches and confirmed they are migraines. She has put me on Rizatriptan wafers which work very well.

I have noticed recently however, that I'm experiencing a 'fluttering' sensation in my left ear - co-incidentally the side in which I get my headaches. It sounds as if there's something moving in my ear, although it feels like some sort of muscle spasm as I can get this similar sensation on or around the eye area.

Do you think this is caused by my headaches or could it be a consequence of 3 years of singing in a live band? (which I quit last year due to valueing my hearing and healthy lungs!).

Also is it worth consulting my doctor about this problem?
It's more annoying than anything although my ear feels a bit achy after having this symptom for about 6 hours on and off.

Thanks in advance.

Answer
Do you think this is caused by my headaches or could it be a consequence of 3 years of singing in a live band? (which I quit last year due to valueing my hearing and healthy lungs!). Yes, it can but that usually causes deafness not tinnitus

Also is it worth consulting my doctor about this problem?
Yes, see your doctor to be sure it is not from the migraine medicine
