My period is almost always regular but my last one was April 3, 2011 then I had sex with my BF last April 7, 15 and 24, 2011) and since then i had no period and started to be paranoid! Last June 11, 2011 I had my first ever medical abortion...i had my first dose at 10pm swallowing 4 cytotec (200mcg) and inserting 2 (200 mcg) vaginally and after 2 hrs repeat it again (12mn) as told by the provider ( i just ordered the med online and sent it to me, i was just texting the provider during the whole course on what to do)...the provider was even mad at me coz i was very anxious coz there was no bleeding that was happening but i had cramping (tolerable) and pains in the abdomen (tolerable) and I even had the feeling of somewhat "burning inside my tummy"...at about 330am (June 12, 2011) after urinating, i noticed blood in the bowl, and i went back to rest again with a sanitary pad...i was just lightly bleeding the whole day of Sunday...and at about 430pm, I felt that something fell in the bowl - just once (jelly like feeling that I normally felt when I have a heavy period) but the sad thing was I wasn't able to see what it was coz our CR was full of bubbles that time (newly cleaned). what I noticed was after that my bleeding stopped and i was just discharging...dark brown to black (looks like new colds) in my pad until the next day, June 12, 2011 and every time I urinate I saw "sand like dark" discharge on the bowl. The cramping, abdominal pain, pelvic pain and pain even just up my vagina continued but it was tolerable because I was able to work, but I'm still worried if I really had a successful abortion. By the way, I also experienced diarrhea, nausea but I never vomit during my intake but didn't last long (maybe just 6 hrs). Everyday I noticed that the discharge was lighter and now the 13th day (June 24) after it, its back to normal. I'm only worried now because last June 21 (10 days after) I vomited in the morning even without taking anything yet and also, I got headache that day. From time to time since that day, I had feeling of nausea but not turn to vomit...my tummy is still bloated and still I had dark nipples..My question is: Was my medical abortion successful? I can't visit a doctor to have an ultrasound because I'm afraid that others may know that I had an abortion...this thing is only between the two of us! I am still consulting the provider and she is prescribing me antibiotics such as cefuroxime and coamoxiclav but I can't take any of them because I have a penicillin allergy..I am waiting for her reply of a medicine alternative but she is not replying late. Personally, I don't want to take any medicine anymore and right now I didn't even take anything yet since June 11 (my medical abortion). Normally, I have a daily dose of vitC (fernC) 1000mg but I stopped it. What should I do...please help...PLEASE...I need your immediate reply on this...I'm hoping!

I think your medical abortion is well done. No worry about that.
The pregtest stays positive until 3 weeks after the abortion.
So repeat the test the 3rd of july to be absolutely sure.
For a medical abortion normally you need no antibiotics.
The antibiotics described for you have nothing to do with penicillin, so you
could take them without being afraid for allergy.
The vita C cannot harm you either.
The dark nipples will stay dark from now on for the rest of your life.

QUESTION: Good day, Doctor!
I had a preg test early this morning at about 4:20 am as you prescribed (after 3 weeks of my med abortion - june11) but I was sad to see the result coz it was still positive. I used Medic Preg Test. There were two lines in it though the Control Section was more darker (purple) than the Test Section. I'm back to being paranoid! Doctor I didn't have any physical contact yet with by BF since April 24 (the last). my question is: why was it still positive after 3 week? I can't have an ultrasound for a follow-up because I am working in a place where we are not allowed to go out alone. I even called up the provider this morning and asked her about this...her answer was she will give me free medicines by Wednesday to clean up my system...question: are there really medicines prescribed to clean up the body system after medical abortion? do i need to take them? do i have to trust her regarding her free medicines? my problem now is i will leave tomorrow (July 4) for an 8-day live in seminar workshop..can you give me some tips for me not to be noticed that am pregnant (if I am still)? please...because we are usually house in a boarding house style, so we have no private rooms..and we always have a free massage (reflexology) after the seminar which all should avail of. Can the reflexologist noticed that am pregnant if she massaged me? Doctor please help me as soon as possible...thanks in advance!

my first question is : do you feel pregnant ? Swollen breasts, tired ?
The mifepriston pill is successful in 95 % of the cases, so one in twenty does not work.
If the provider gives you mife again, there is nothing wrong in trying again.
If you go to another place, possibly have the ultrasound there ?
The reflexologist can not see that you are pregnant.
I do not believe the reflexologist can see anything at all. Its not normal science.
There are no proves that its more than humbug.
Massage could be nice anyway. No worry about that.

i don't have swollen breasts. maybe the feeling to vomit before was just due to the fact that i was taking cefuroxime (maybe an after effect) coz now its gone. my only concern is: i have this strange feeling of having a menstruation but no bleeding happening and i felt bloated...question: could these be signs that am still pregnant? regarding the free med that the provider is promising me to give...i don't think it will be mife coz in the kit she only gave me 12 cyto (i know it was authentic coz it was in foil and i research how it looks like), 2 mife (but am not sure if it was coz it was not in foil and it has no cover to say, it was brown in color) and 5 anti-hem (no cover, which I didn't take 'coz I didn't have a heavy bleeding)..i took the brown (according to her was mife) after the cyto as prescribed by her coz according to her it works best after the cyto.please be patient with me, doctor! it's you alone I can ask for help right now.

Still I think the chance that you are pregnant is minimal.
Please repeat the test july 11th.
Or better, have the test done in some pharmacy, so no mistakes possible.
Sometimes test are too old or not stored cool enough.
I am not sure what the "provider" gave you....?
