Yasmin & Milk Thistle Interaction: Potential Risks & Effects

I'm currently taking Yasmin oral contraceptives (in order to stimulate a menstrual period after 2 years of amenorrhea), and 20 miligrams of Prozac per day. I want to begin taking Milk Thistle, in order to improve my liver function tests and heal my liver from past damage due to anorexia nervosa. Will my other two medications still work if I begin taking Milk Thistle?

Milk Thistle and Yasmin may have an interaction that could alter the contraceptive effect of the yasmin. Also, it is possible that Milk Thistle itself can cause or enhance estrogen side effects. Probably not a good idea to use the Milk Thistle.
