Answerbarbara;
nubness or tingling in a hand is often associated with one of the following conditions;
-brachial plexus injury-weakness,numbness and tingling develop in an arm and hand. this type of pain results from a shoulder or underarm injury that affects the network of nerves called the brachial plexus.
-carpal tunnel syndrome-numbness and tingling may occur at night and radiate up an arm. the thumb,index finger and long finger are most often affected,hand weakness also may occur.
its hard to know what you have,and since your a diabetic type 2,you should really ask your doctor.
i wish i could do more;
