Body Numbness in Teenagers: Potential Causes & When to See a Doctor

my 16 years old daughter has had several episodes of severe numbness all ever her body (head to feet) for the past 2 weeks. she barely feels her body and her mind nearly goes blank. what could be causing this?

A couple of things.... this could be mild pre-fainting symptoms... I would wonder about anemia (from periods) or possibly thyroid problems or low blood sugar reactions.   It is less likely but getting the heart rythym checked.   This is worth a doctor visit.
