Pregnancy Concerns: Avoiding C-Section After Previous Recommendation

Question
i am a 25 y.0. female
i was once  pregnant and the docotr siad  i should return to my  boyfirned and   then my  prolonged pregancy resolve itself, so i would not need a ceasarian.
this was a while a go and i had the C
rather than to return to boy friend.

now i ahve no contact with  the  docotor and am wondering if i did the rigth thing:
ie; what are the % if i am  just past the 9 month and  wanna avoid  a c?  what r the %'s of  had i returned to BF and what are the chances  that this would  lead to normal delivery?

in general and prolonged   pregnancy,
what is the danger to me AND the baby from  either induced labor (via unnatural chemical means)
and/or  in a case of C due to  bayby refusing to come down .

thankyou!

btw is it possible for a boy to get a std if eh touches   my vaginal secretions with his penis jsut after i  climax  and  the fluid  flows out of me (but he never entered me) just touched   my vulva with his flaccid peenie?
thanks

Answer
I don't understand what "had the C rather than return to my boyfriend" means, so I can't answer that, and the chances of getting a STD from this situation is pretty low.  If you mean return to boyfriend and have continued sex, there is no evidence that that makes someone have an easier delivery.

Prolonged labor by itself usually isn't a problem, even with meds as long as there isn't any baby distress noted on the monitor.
