Post Tibial Decompression Recovery: Accident & Return to Work Experience

Question
Quick History: Sept 2004 had surgery for post tibual decompression (back area of calf).
I was doing physio and improving, by Jan 10/05 my Dr said I could go back to work three times a week for 2-3 hour period to start slow, I wentin three times the week of the 10th.
But on Jan 18 coming home from physio a 1/2 pick up hit me from behind when I was stopped indicating to turn into a gas station. ( I have being driving for 24 years have never been or had a car accident). Trauma to left leg where I had surgery pain and swelling L5 S1 plus disc bulging neck (intense headaches) pins and needles in left lower arm. Spent a lot of time in physio and testing etc. time went by no matter what i did was not improving. Back specialist said he could not operate but sent me to a pain clinic for injections went 4 times for 4 blocks. At least I can walk straighter and each day I try to walk w/o cane more and more
I  still have pain but it has become dulled making it more managable to do more than I have in 14  months. Pain Dr. said I have Myofascial
I would if possible need you to tell me which is the best way to treat this could you also tell me in layman's about it.
Thank you very much
Michelle Lemaire.

Answer
This is where the thick layers of fascia which hold muscle and bones together become painful and swollen due to magnesium oxide, calcium, vit D, and omega 3 deficiency following surgery or an injury and you had both.

My patients do well with taking magnesium oxide 250 mg before lunch and dinner and 500mg at bedtime along with a separate CaltratePlus each time, B-100 B Complex before each meal AND 3000mg of omega 3 fish oil four times a day.

You need to check with your doctor to be sure this is OK for you.
