QuestionOk, I have never had a pap smear but will be doing one near october (around my 18th b-day.) That will be 3 years after my first sexual activity and i heard thats when you should start.
And the glob wasnt hard it was rubbery and odd. i agree that the lack of odor and color was odd too. But i generally have regular periods. I am due to have mine in a week i believe.
I dont think i could be pregnant because my last period was regular and i was on birth control. I hope i am not.

I am 17 years old and i am currently not on birth control and i have not been sexually active for the past month or two. I have am not regularly a heavy discharger but i do often get thick or milky discharge. These two things i am sure are due to some sort of bacteria or small infection.
But just today while using the restroom i had a large clump of discharge, which i noticed while wiping. It was clear and dry mainly. It was thicker than jello because it did not just smear when pushed around. I am worried that this is a sign of pregnancy or some sort of STD.
And when I checked how the rest of my vagina was (liquid-wise) it seemed normal and without scent. The ball of stuff was also without scent.
So I am just curious of the reasoning for this occurence.

julianna;
this sounds like it could be just hard dried up discharge.and with no odor,its odd.
when was the last time you had a pap smear,and pelvic exam?
how about your menstrual cycles,any changes?

Answerjulianna;
well when you start being sexually active,is the best time to start seeing your GYN doctor. for your routine check up,and pap smears. you never know what could happen,meaning any infections etc.
now,with what is going on now,your period is coming,as you stated,so wait and see,after your not cycle is over. and if everything is normal,then i wouldnt worry. but if all things are the same,then you need to see your doctor.
i wish i could do more;sorry
