Question
QUESTION: Hello Robert, Would you please describe in simplicity what Subendocardial Hemorrhage with Hematoma is? Also what is Bundle of his and left Bundle branch. Thank you so much for your time. Mark
ANSWER: subendo hemm  means bleeding under the surface of the heart muscle... a term that I haven't heard much..... Left bundle branch block means that there is a block in one of the two branches of nerve center to the portions of the main heart.  a single bundle branch block doesn't mean much.   hope this helps... it is hard to change this to layman's terms without a long explanation

QUESTION: Hi Robert,  go ahead and give explain the way you would like then. I appreciate to trying to make it simple for me. In some medical situations though nothings that simple. Thanks Mark

Answer
it gets complicated quickly.... subendocardial hem w/ hematoma means that there is bleeding through part of the muscle layer of the heart with a collection of blood (hematoma).   bundle of his is a specific part of the nerve network inside the heart... left bundle branch is the collection of nerves that carry the "contract" signal for the left side of the ventricle, the lower portion of the heart.  A left bundle branch block means that there is a blockage or interruption of the nerve signal through that nerve pathway and the contract signal has to move slowly through the muscle tissue from the right side of the ventricle to the left, which widens out the QRS complex on the ecg.   If there is a right bundle branch block, then the signal is widened from left, carrying the signal through the muscle to the right.
