Ear, Nose & Throat Infection: Symptoms, Causes & When to See a Doctor

For the past 2 days I have had some sort of ear/nose and throat infection basically I have a stuffy/ runny nose and this blocked up feeling is going all the way back to my ears,I have a slight noises coming from my left ear and my throat is scratchy.When I blow my nose the snot/mucus is quite green and if I cough little bits of white/yellow mass come up,I don't have a high temperature or any chills or aches ,whats my problem do i need an antibiotic, I would prefer to fight it off myself an not go get an antibiotic from a gp?

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well!

It's sounds as if you have a case of sinusitis, or a sinus infection.  If you are bringing out green and coughing up yellow, you probably need an antibiotic.  

I can't tell you to take over the counter medications, since I don't know your health history.  I certainly would contact your physician.
