Understanding Scoliosis Screening Results: What Does a 10 Curve Mean?

My 12 year old daughter had the scoliosis screening done at school and returned home with a letter today.  It says she has a curved spine measuring 10 on the scoiometer.  Can you please let me know what this means and how much of a curve that is.  Thank you!

I am so sorry - I did answer this question but obviously it did not go through.  I would recommend taking the reading from the school test and seeing your daughter's physician.

He is the one who should be advising your regarding the results of this and what if any steps need to be taken at this time.
