Underbuttock Pain & Related Symptoms: Causes & Relief

Question
Dear Doctor

For some times I have been experiencing slight pain underneath my buttocks (specially the left side) while sitting in chair, it starts with feeling tension (also slight burning sensation) on the blood vessels (nerve) under my buttocks and then in spreads to my groin area with burning sensation while urination and sometimes leads to prostate enlargement, FYI I recently had prostate exam and colonoscopy ruling out any cancer, any advise would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Answer
While this can all be prostate disease, it ccould also be pirifomis syndrome, sacral nerve pathology or even corda equina syndrome.
If you have not had both a urologist and neurologist consults and exams, plus MRI of your lumbar spine, prostate and pelvis you may want to do that to rule out the above or treat the above
