Question
Hello there, i have a pain, gnawing pain in my lower right ribs, is was said to be gasritis of stomach- duodenum, i dont know whats going on but i  have taken antibiotics for h pylori, losec, pariet, nexium, it doesnt seem to want to go! I notice that when i take the drugs it might feel beeter for a whbile then it comes right back! Is there a permanent cure for this disease! Its really making me depress, according the diagnostics it not an ulcer , it gasritis, yet its burning , in a specific spot as if its an ulcer! If i drink a cup of water i can feel it going down right to cool the burning spot!I also notice when i sit down it burns but when i stand up it stops , it as if it is posture related! The drugs dont seem to be working , what i can i do to have this problem resolved! I had this problem for over 2 years now, and it wont go away and stay away! Please help me!

Answer
the drugs like Nexium should help gastritis/GERD (take them on empty stomach) but if it persists, then you might look at gall bladder or food allergies.  I assume you have had the upper endoscopy in the past.  But there may be other problems going on also.....
