QuestionI am on coumadin after being released from the hospital for the treatment of 2 saddle PEs and a blood clot the length of one leg.At first levels were too high but for the last two months they have been too low ,what does this mean in reference to my blood clots and how will we know when it is time for me to stop taking this drug?
AnswerThis is not good so should be on coumadin for life.
Should also lower your omega-6 plant oil intake to ancestral levels, see http:/efaeducation.nih.gov for information on doing this since the omega-6 plant oil foods are what cause increased clotting.
This NIH website has a computer program you or a family member can download FREE to show your heart attack rate from the foods you eat and shows you better foods for you, the heart attack rate is comparable to the clot rate.
