Understanding Elevated Chromatin Levels in Blood Tests: Causes & Limitations
QuestionHi,
Why would chromatin levels be elevated on a blood test?
Thanks
AnswerI don't know why anyone would even do a chromatin test... there isn't any significane to the numbers as far as diagnosing any diseases.... the problem with the test is that it can elevate if the specimen is not tested in a timely manner or if it is drawn in an improper tube. (the different tops on the tubes indicate different "stuff" in the tube to help process the blood)
So, sorry, I can't answer this question with this information.....
