Burning Eyes: Causes, Symptoms & Relief - Expert Advice

Question
For a couple years now My eyes burn at times. If I rub hem it gets worse and they tear a lot and really burn when I open them. I found that If I wash my face good the condition goes away. I don't know if the tears or sweat (minor more just like oily or damp skin) or wht is causing it. I use to think chemicals from work caused this, I work at a printing company, and this startes within 6 months after starting there. I have been off work for about a month now and the condition is still there. I just had the idea maybe one of my prescriptions may cause this but every place I look says that it is not a complete list and ask your dr. I am taking generic flowmax .4mg amd also lisinopril-hctx 10 mg. Do you know if either of these can cause my condition or any ideas I can take to my dr?

Answer
in our patients this is from the plant oil in their diet, such as nuts, seeds, flax, soy, hummus, avocados, kiwi, bananas, chips, gluten, and poultry
they find lower omega 6 plant oil foods by using the free download at http://efaeducation.nih.gov
there are also many lectures available there
