QuestionI had an x-ray a week ago today for a shoulder problem. X-ray didn't show any problem.
However about a day after the x-ray I started having an upset stomach. This has only gotten worse with pain in my lower left side that hurts to touch! I also have bad heartburn that isn't responding any medicines.
I am very worried something went wrong during the x-ray and I am experiencing radiation poisoning. What suggestions can you give me?

AnswerI would venture to say that is impossible.... the machines are so good that an overexposure isn't possible and if it did, the xray would not have come out.... you would have to have a few thousand xrays to get enough to cause symptoms.
I think that you have something else going on in your intestinal tract.... if you have diarrhea, there are a lot of stomach bugs going around ( at least down here )
