Questionmy son was detected of primary complex last aug 2011, he had a lot og lymph nodes around the neck 3 of them had pus and was swollen , the other 1 under the jaw bone had a minor suregery and the other 2 didnt it just got pricked since the pus was so obvious in the skin, we had finished/ the anti tb drugs for 6 mos. we finished the med last feb 15 2012 but after 2 weeks the other lymph node that was beside the ears was swollen agian and had pus, im afraid that this will happen again since my had suffered so much pain and his so youg, what do i need to do, i havent brought him back to the dr. , ?
Answerwell, first, you have to return to the doctor..... if the infection was TB, the pus has to be examined and cultured to find out exactly what the TB or other organism is and exactly what drugs it will take to kill the infection. Sorry you have to go through all this but it will take more time to cure this problem.
