Left Hip Pain After Endometriosis Surgery: Scar Tissue?

Question
I have had several laproscopies and 1 laporatomy for severe endometrosis.  I am 43 yrs old and have 1 beautiful daughter (6).  For the past year and half I have been having pain in my left hip. I had an MRI and nothing was found.  My question is could I have scar tissue that has formed and pulls in that area?  Currently I am on Yaz 6 weeks then off 4 days on 6 weeks and off 4 days. I don't have painful periods.

Answer
Loretta,

Your hip pain could very well be Endo/scar tissue. Years ago it was thought that Endo was only found in the reproductive area of a woman until recently. Now Endo is found all over the place. The lungs...legs etc. Why not the hip also?

If the hip pain is in fact contributed to your Endo, you need to find out what is causing it....scar tissue or Endo itself.

If you want to try and self diagnose before having a doctor check it out...try the Endo diet or Natural Progesterone cream. After doing either for awhile and you notice a difference....well, odds are that is your problem. If interested in either of these options visit www.endo-resolved.com.

Good luck in finding out what this problem is and update me when you know. Any other questions please feel free to write to me again.

Sincerely,

Angie
