QuestionQUESTION: i am 21 and my doctor and i have been going around in circles. i have endo plus another form andemyosis. i am in pain all the time. there not craps but sharp stabs. then i also have uterus shaped like a upside down heart and spilt in half with a septum. i have been on depo and lupron at the same time.birth control pills. the ring. i have had a lap. a hysteroscopy, so many ultra sounds. the doctor can never find anything wrong. but when he is using the ultra sound probe it hurts so much. my bf and i cant do much because i cant. my doctor doesnt know what to tell me anymore and its driving me nuts. he wishes that i was 40 then he would do a hysterectomy. i want more options. i know that freezing my eggs cost $10,000 and insurance doesnt cover it and its another $2,000 every year until your ready to use them. i am scared and i dont want to be in pain anymore.

I know the pain you are talking about...and I too was diagnosed in my 20's. I was going to get a hysterectomy too. Until I found this great doctor. He is a "high risk/fertility" doctor. Most endo doctors come with that title. These types of doctors may have an alternative for you.
I'd check around and look for a second opinion just because you are so young. One place to look, might be the Endo Research Center site. They may be able to direct you to a specialist in your area. Not to say that your doctor isn't suitable, but there are other options and doctors out there.
I feel for you and the everyday pain you have to endure. Its like you can't wait to get to the next month to get another period out of the way and hope that the next isn't as bad. Endo envelopes your life.

QUESTION: i know i should get a another opinion which would be my 3rd. but the doctor that i am seeing right now is rated #1 where i live. plus i dont want to go through all the test again to get back to the point where we already are. so i am kind of stuck and confused and i dont know what to do :(

Well I am glad to hear you have a good doctor and I know you don't want to have to relive all the tests.
I feel so badly that you can't find any type of relief. I can't believe in this day and age, that there isn't someone out there that could provide you with additional options.
A hysterectomy may be the only option at this point. How does trying to get pregnant now, sound? It probably doesn't fit into your life plans, but it may be the only option you have to having a child. And it would be ashame if you didn't get to experience that.
I understand your frustrations and confusion at this point...Conception may be the answer, now. I don't know you, but it kind of sounds exciting!
