I JUST RECENTLY STARTED READING ABOUT ENDO...AND I KINDA THINK I MAY HAVE IT ANOTHER ISSUE WAS THAT I SEE IT CAUSES INFERTILITY AND I THINK ITS KINDA WIERD I'VE NEVER BEEN PREGNANT ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO I WAS TRYING TO GET PREGNANT.....WELL MY CRAMPS ARE STILL HORRIBLE I'M ALWAYS TIRED CAN'T BE OUT AND ABOUT 4 TOO LONG AND I GET THESE SHARP PAINS IN MY RECTUM AREA BEEN GETIN THOES FOR YEARS I GET SHARP PAINS IN THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY LOWER ABDOMEN AND....A REACCURIN AND DISAPHERIN LUMP VISITS THAT SPOT AS WELL. PLEASE HELP ME...WITH SOME ADVICE.

ANSWER: Good Morning Rochelle
Oh yea you sound like you have endo...Endo makes you have all of those symptoms. I, too had the same experiences, I would even vomit every month. And always so tired...
I also had that pain in my rectum...it is due to a tilted uterus. Your uterus and other organs swell with endo and at different times of the month, this could possibly be giving you the pain you are having.
I tried all of those painkillers too...they don't work. Because endo is a hormone driven condition, you need to see a gyno that specializes in endo. They can prescribe specific treatments that will help curb your symptoms, hormonal treatments.
A good gyno will start with a lap test that explores your abdomen area to diagnose the severity of your endo...this is very important.
My best advice would be to get to a good doctor, tell him/her what your are experiencing...I bet they will suspect endo as well.
As far as getting pregnant, with endo, you can conceive, but it may take alittle longer...but some endo women cannot. It depends on your doctor....
Good luck to you...find a good doctor and you can start to feel better soon! Take care of yourself!

QUESTION: HEY THANK U FOR THE ADVICE. ITS HIGHLY APRICIATED. THE THING IS I DON'T HAVE MEDICAL ENSURANCE.....SO HOW WUD I GO ABOUT BEING CHECKED? AND IF I COULD DISCRIBE THE CRAMPS I'VE BEEN FEELING UP TO A WEEK B4 MY PERIOD AND DURING....I WOULD SAY : IT FEELS LIKE SM1 HAS NEEDLES ON THEIR FINGER TIPS....AND THEIR SCRATCHING THE INSIDE OF MY STOMACH. . . . SOUND FAMILIAR?

Answer
Hi Rochelle
Anything goes with endo...every woman has different symptoms. And yes, I always felt lousy a week prior to my period.
Now, for the insurance. I would contact: www.endocenter.org, and inquire about centers you might be able to go, in your area. They are very helpful with recommendations.
Let me know what you find out! Good luck.
