Post-Abortion Bleeding & Period Irregularities: What to Expect

I had an abortion in May and haven't got a regular period after that i spot but don't really bleed enough to soak a pad. is this normal? will i be able to get pregnant in the future?

Hi Eva, it can take your body some time to go back to normal after an abortion. I myself ended up with periods all over the place, wierd bleeding etc.

I think that maybe you should go see the doctor for a checkup and to make sure that everything is ok but my guess is that it is perfectly fine.

I am sure you will have no problem conceiving later on, it is very rare for abortion to make a woman infertile and usually only if she has other underlying problems and many abortions.
