Missed Period After Childbirth: Causes & What To Do

I gave birth in aug and I am on the mini pill and breastfeeding. I got my period or what I beleive to be my period in early october and it is now december and haven't got it again. Could i be pregnant or is my body just trying to get back on track?

Unless you have other symptoms, you should not assume you are pregnant (although it never hurts to take a test to be sure).  Both extended breastfeeding and the mini pill act to prevent fertility.  Many women do not have periods at all on the mini pill, even when not breastfeeding, so it is very normal for you to be having irregular bleeding.  You may go months without any bleeding as long as you are on the mini pill.
