QuestionI know that once you stop taking birth control pills, it is common to miss one or several periods, have irregularities, changes in flow etc.
However, I stopped taking the pill and received my "pill period" September 1st, I then had a regular period 32 days later on October 3rd. Now, 37 days later (November 9th), I have yet to receive my period.
So, my question is this: While it is normal for a period not to return immediately after stopping oral contraceptives, is it normal not to have a period even though you've already had two periods (1 "pill period" and one regular menstruation) after stopping the pill?
AnswerEach woman is different coming off the pill. You really cannot say what is "normal." What is normal coming off the pill is what happens to you.
Some women start their regular cycles right away and some may go months having irregular periods or no periods.
