AnswerIf she had a negative home pregnancy test after the days of spotting in April, it seems very unlikely that she was pregnant at that time. Home pregnancy tests are very sensitive nowadays, and the vast majority of women will test positive within 14 days of ovulation. If your daughter had an ultrasound in June that determined her due date was in February, this is most likely the correct date.
Even if your daughter was farther along, as you say, normal gestation is 37-42 weeks. Since your daughter has already reached 37 weeks by her February due date, she is within the range of normal for either possibility. B-H contractions and passing the mucous plug are not reliable indicators of when labor will begin, only that the body is preparing. She could still remain pregnant for several weeks. Right now, she needs to relax and rest, so that stress does not prevent nature from moving things along.
