QuestionCould a 9wks Uss which correlates with Lmp be wrong.I ask because my baby does not looklike either my partner and I.I was with another partner who willnot fit ordinarily. But I feel baby looks like him.Is there a way for a more subjective way of comparing their looks.THank you
AnswerIf a 9 week ultrasound correlates with the LMP for determining due date, it is highly unlikely that it could be off.
Babies often look very different than their parents; that is not a good indicator for determining parentage.
If you were with both men within a week of when the expected conception date is, than I would suggest getting a paternity test. But if you weren't with the 2nd man anytime around when conception was supposed to take place, then there isn't a possibility that he is the father.
You can always have a paternity test done anyway just to put your mind at ease.
