Emergency Contraception & Late Pill Intake: Understanding Pregnancy Risk

My girlfriend usually takes her pill @ 645 pm everyday at work. Last thursday she forgot to take it at that time and we had sex that night around 10pm. She then remembered she had forgotten to take it and took the pill @ 12am. Then next day she took her pill @ the regular time and we had sex that night also. What are the chances by taking the pill late that she could of gotten pregnant. Im asking this cause she usually gets some spotting before her period and she suppose to get her period sunday and no spotting has occured. Shes on Ortho-tricylen lo i believe. Thanks for your help.

Hi Robert,
I'm not a medical doctor so I urge you to tell your girlfriend to check with her physician. There is a slight possibility that she could be pregnant with those circumstances you mentioned. The pill is not 100% failure proof even when taken exactly correctly. She could take a pregnancy test in a little while. Go to this website http://www.optionline.org to find a free testing center.
