Understanding Irregular Periods While on Birth Control: Causes & What to Do

I have been on birth control since I was 14. I am now 29. I have never missed a period. My last date for my period began on the the correct day. It started like usual you know the brown discharge then I had a couple of red spots of blood, then the brown stuff and that was it. This happened on Saturday and Sunday. Monday I took a test it was negative. The next Saturday and Sunday I took another test and they were both negative. I have not been sick, kind of tired, no breast tenderness, but yet when I squeeze my breast I have a small amount of discharge. I know sometimes that is normal, however I am scared because I don't know what to do. Can you please help?
