Lost Birth Control Pill? What to Do If You Miss a Dose

I went to take my pill tonight(im on the second one of the third week) and i dropped it on the floor and couldnt find it. I took the pill for tomorrow instead. Should i continue taking the rest and just not take the last placibo pill? Will this mess up the birth control by missing it?

What does your package insert, the information that comes with the pill, say about this? Are you having sex regularly or only occasionally? If you are not having sex don't worry. If you are worried about pregnancy contine with the pills but use another method such as condom or foam.
