Heavy Bleeding & Nausea After IUD Insertion: What to Do?

Question
Hey so about two months or do I had my second iud inserted 7 months after my second daughters birth after getting my first I had no accessible bleeding or issues of any kind but this time I was bleeding up until two days before my first expected period and then I had my period as expected no issues but then about three days ago started bleeding very heavy and my next period isn't expected for another two weeks and yesterday morning woke up at about 4 puking and did on and off for about 4 hours with very bad runs and continued to feel very bad the entire day included horrible head ache and weakness and then won't this morning feeling fine but still bleeding heavily can you please tell me what's going on

Answer
Dear Kelsey,

I really recommend that you go to your doctor as soon as possible, if you haven't already done so. I am concerned with what you are saying. Perhaps it is the flu or perhaps it is a side effect from the IUD. Or perhaps a combination of both of these. But it's important to go to your doctor or a clinic and find out for sure. Bleeding heavily is not good and can be very dangerous. Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and let me know how you are. Hope to hear from you soon.
