Loestren FE Side Effects: Heavy Bleeding & What to Do

Hello!
My question is about birth control.  I started Lo Loestren FE two weeks ago a day after my period completely stopped. I have had heavy bleeding (like a period) ever since about the second or third day.  This is very frustrating. I've heard that you can have spotting your first month, but this is much worse than just spotting. I have two children (1 and 3), but I unfortunatly had to terminate a pregnancy may 18th, but recovery went well and i got my normal period back about a month later.  I also take prevacid for reflux, vitamin d, and acidopholis (unsure of spelling) for digestion.  My question is... is this normal for starting birth controlor am i having an adverse reaction to it? Would i be better off getting the hormone free IUD? Should i stop the pill or try a different one?

I don't usually recommend any kind of hormonal birth control method. This is not healthy, in my opinion. I'm not really "up" on the hormone free IUD but could do some research about this if you like.
