Medication Abortion: Safety and Procedure at 8-9 Weeks

Our pregnancy has got some complexities and doctors suggested abortion. My wife wants the abortion by medication. She is 8-9 weeks pregnant. Is it safe?

As long as she is under 9 weeks, it is safe.
