Understanding Post-Abortion Recovery & Trying to Conceive
Questiondear sir , i got pregnant in august 2006 and i had a medical abortion on september 25 ( about 7 weeks pregnancy). after that i had a bleeding for 5-6 days. the bleeding was light. i got the next period on 8 Nov 2006 that lasted for 6 weeks and the bleeding was very heavy around 12th December and was normal to light for rest of the days. i passed really big clots for two three days. i went for a medical check up and was told that the uterus was clear. now i am trying to get pregnant and i want to know whether my first abortion could affect the chances of getting pregnant this time or could i have any complications getting pregnant this time?
thanks for your concern
AnswerDear Raman,
The bleeding that you experienced was completely normal after the abortion pill; there were no complications of the pregnancy that you ended. You are 100% fine to get pregnant again, whenever you want to.
I hope this is helpful,
