Delayed Period After Termination: Causes, Symptoms & When to Seek Help

Question
I am 26 and live in the UK, I had a termination in March of this year it has been 17 weeks after my termination and I still haven't had a period. I had an infection in my womb after the termination which has been cleared up now but I just will not have a period, this is now making me feel extremely ill. I feel tired, run down, sick, dizzy all the time. I have put on 2 stone in weight (which is 28 pounds us) I use to be fit I took part in Kickboxing, running all different types of sports I love being fit but now I find it hurts my tummy to take part in any sport plus I just feel to ill.
I really am worried because my doctor and my gyne just don't know what is wrong they have tried every thing to start my period but still nothing has happened.

Please help me I am in desperate need of help it will be 18 weeks on tomorrow that I haven't had a period for.

Kind Regards

Miss Julie Ann Delaney

Answer
Hi Julie,

I'm sorry but I don't know what else to say. I'm not a medical doctor and if doctors don't know what to do, I really could not second-guess them. I am worried about you. Have you considered if you are eating a healthy diet? Is anything else going on with you that you haven't mentioned. I wonder about when you said that your tummy hurts. What kind of tests have they done on you? I hope you will ask a followup question telling me more answers. Or you can email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com
I will see what else I can find out in my research.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
