Abdominal Swelling After Miscarriage: Causes, Ultrasound & Next Steps

hi,
i was carrying my first baby but unfortunately i had miscarriage in 5th month.after this i am having pain in my left side of stomach(Where is ovary is). I consulted my gyne, she suggested to get an ultrasound done.
i my USG report mild swelling in uterus has come.
so now i am a bit scared because of this swelling as my friends have told me that one can't conceive as long as swelling persists. also Dr. has advised me to go through TORCH test. kindly through light on my case and be clear.
and also please tell me if the report of TORCH test would be OK thn when can i conceive?

please don't hide anything from me and be straight forward while giving reply.
