Dear Doctor,

I had my periods on 19 th Nov 2008  we had sex on 30th nov 08  it seems to me i am preg.  could you please suggest me with any abort pill please.

I also had mensovit plus about 12 nos on dec 5th doe three days my due date was on 19 th dec but it did not happen but i have that sensation of roughting out etc please do susggest me for a pill which is available in bangalore i have two kids and i do not want to give birth please suggest me immediately.

First of all, please know I am not a doctor. For me to prescribe a pill for you would be to practice medicine without a license. Nobody ought to prescribe medication for you over the internet. You need to be examined by a doctor, who can take a proper medical history. There may be things about your body and heredity that would make taking such medications very dangerous. Even a doctor who is truly responsible won't prescribe medication over the internet.

You first need to determine if you are pregnant or not. Taking a pill when you are not pregnant would be unnecessary and potentially harmful. You aren't even past the point when you should miss your period.

The second thing you need to be aware of is that abortion pills are dangerous. They can kill you. For one thing, you could experience such violent contractions that it will rupture your uterus and kill you. Or they can cause toxic shock syndrome that can also kill you within hours. They could also cause profuse bleeding that lasts for weeks, and that is also a threat to your life. We don't even begin to know the possible complications. These are just some of them.

I understand you are afraid. You should be even more afraid of taking such powerful medications. And if you go out somewhere in Bangalore and buy who knows what off the streets, you won't even know what you are getting.

You are asking me to help you hurt yourself, and I won't do that.
