hi doc,i am 29 yrs old.i've had an abortion on 14th dec 2008.it was an very early abortion after my pregnency.but now i'am not having my period.my husband uses withdrawal method when we have sex.he throws the sperm outside i'm sure.is ther any problem in my body for abortion?when i'll have a period?

Dear Fatema,
You should definitely check a pregnancy test at home.  If you had an early pregnancy, the pregnancy test should be negative by now. If you take the test and it is negative, there are no concerns.  Your next period normally can take several months to go back to normal.  If it is positive, you will need to be evaluated to make sure the original pregnancy was ended, or check for the possibility of a new pregnancy.
