Understanding Potential Pregnancy While on Birth Control: Symptoms & Concerns

I've been on the pill for a year..takin a 21 hormonal pill, on Jan 5th I had my period like usual, and star taking the pills eight days after the last package.My questions is because im concern that on Jan 16th i had sex unprotected with my husband; And Jan 18th while i was in the bathroom i saw this whity like egg thing ( like if i were ovulating ) after that my breast got really sore and I ve been having this cramps in my abdomen.. Im pregnant or is just me being paranoid?
I take my pills in the night... And if i forgot one i take in the morning no more than 12 hours late. That happened while on this package

Hi Luni,
It's good you are taking care of yourself and your fertility! Yes you might be pregnant.  I suggest you get a pregnancy test from the pharmacy to check.
Pregnancy can happen while taking the pill.  If you miss a pill by more than 4 hours it can fail.  Also, it is very important to start the next pack not by what is happening with your period, but by the number of days required by whatever pill you are taking.  With some pills there are no days off, with others you wait one week to start the new pack.
So find out with a pregnancy test.
