Answer
Hello, Nubhav,

Please know that I am not a doctor. I am just someone who has done a lot of research and talked to a lot of women.

What you are telling me doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. You said you had a period on June 6, but you tested right after that, and it showed positive for pregnancy? How much of a period did you have? Why did you take these powerful medications at this time?

There is another possibility. You may have been pregnant and thus didn't have a period on May 25th, but you could have had a miscarriage, starting on June 6. If you took a pregnancy test at that point, it might show positive, even though you had just had a miscarriage.

Now all of this is speculative, and you should go to the doctor and get some real answers.

But I need to warn you that using Misoprostol vaginally is VERY, VERY dangerous. It could kill you within hours. Please don't do this! You need to watch yourself carefully, because if you develop any symptoms, you need to get to the emergency room immediately and tell the doctor that he should check for toxic shock syndrome. If that's what you develop, they are unlikely to find it out quickly enough to save your life, so PLEASE tell them this if you go to the emergency room.

You are the first person who has told me that there is a Cipla MTP kit. I'm wondering if they put the instructions to use Misoprostol vaginally in this kit! I am getting so many questions from women in India that they have done this. I will look into it. The manufacturer of Misoprostol has EXPLICITLY said that it should NEVER be given to a pregnant woman. Not only can it cause toxic shock syndrome, but it can also cause contractions so severe they can rupture a woman's uterus! It's not a drug for producing abortion. It's a drug for stomach ulcers!

Now about your lack of bleeding, I don't know how much you bled on the 6th, or when it ended. These are all things that are important to know.

But please go see a doctor. That's the only way you will get some answers; nobody can tell you over the internet, not even a doctor. Please take care of yourself and don't take any more chances!
