Excessive Bleeding & Cramping After Abortion: Understanding Potential Causes

In the question under Abortion - bleeding, cramping, abdominal pain, after abortion. Dr. Kim said it can be cause by left over lining i the uterus. My girl friend had an abortion pill about 2 months ago. After the follow up check up the nurse said embryo passed. So that following week she had her menstrual cycle well so she thought, has the weeks went on by the bleeding became excessive and clots followed the bleeding. Now its been over a month that shes bleeding and now theres cramping and the clots got bigger. My question is do you think she needs to go re do the procedure or can she just ride it out, unless you think its serious should she see a doctor?

There have been many reports lately here and in other countries about excessive and extended bleeding after abortion. If it is still continuing, please seek medical advice and/or checkup. The situation could be dangerous. Please don't do abortion in the future. Consider abstinence or if you continue to be sexually active, you could marry and have the child next time.
