QuestionHi dear doctor:
I did an abortion about 4days ago, after the abortion, I only had very little
bleeding or brown discharge for the past 3days. 2 days after the abortion I
started to have fever about 38 to 39.5 degree, which really worried me, I
took cefprozil after visiting the clinic and now the fever is gone.
But this morning I started bleeding dark colored blood, no foul smelling,
along with some heavy and pain feelings like having a period. The amount
of bleeding is a lot more than what I had the days before. I am really
worried that I have an infection or the abortion is not complete, Dr is what
happened to me normal or it indicate a bad abortion? I'm really worried
and I want to be able to have baby in the future. Looking forward to your
reply.
P.s: for the past few days I did not have noticeable pain besides the fever
and starting today I have heavy and pain feelings.

You should have been given instructions on what happens after the abortion. Call your doctor if you have any worries or concerns about side effects after the abortion. Your health is of the utmost importance and you have to get medical help if you need it. Please do not hesitate.
