Emergency Abortion Help: Seeking Guidance in a Restrictive Environment
QuestionDear Dr. Cheryl:
I live in the middle east where it is illegal to be pregnant from a relationship, abortion is illegal and no access to medication is possible. I am now around 5 weeks permanent, I managed to get the cytotect and on last Friday night (more than 48 hrs) I used 4 pills vaginally. I had the cramps, vomiting and diarrhea but no bleeding happened till now. I just did the pregnancy test again and the result was still positive.
I still have more pills with me but my question is how long should I wait before doing the second attempt?
Thank you.
AnswerI don't advise you to take these tablets. You are fortunate that you had no side effects from the medication. Women have died and had severe side effects. Is there another solution for you?
What does it mean that it is "illegal" to be pregnant. What would happen if you had a baby? Do you have a way to get out of the country? Write me in private at CHERYL51@aol.com or join our group under anonymous name http://groups.yahoo.com/group/unplanned_pregnancy_help/
