Post-Abortion Pregnancy Test: What Could This Mean?

I had an abortion done almost 8 weeks ago the day after I had the procedure done I packed my life in my van and drove 1400 miles back home to my husband he and I were having problems and went our own ways, he had his girlfriend and I had my boyfriend anyways to make a long story short. we have had unprotected sex and i am not on birth control I took a test yesterday and the test came back with a positive result my question is , could this be a false test because of having the procedure done? and will it hurt me or could the baby have any problems if I am pregnant we are we are planning on keeping it. I do have to older children from a previous relationship ages 8 and 5 please try and help me with these questions thank you for your time

No, the test will not be false positive because of the abortion 8 weeks ago.
To be more sure repeat the test. Sometimes tests are false positive when old, or stored in a too warm place.
The abortion will not affect your fertility if performed in a medical setting by a doc.
