Post-Abortion Recovery: Bleeding & Completion of Abortion - Expert Advice

Hi Shan,
I got my abortion done through the abortion pill under the guidance of a medical practitioner. I was 7 weeks pregnant at that time. I have vaginal bleeding since 24th July. It had reduced considerably and then from last one week fresh bleeding started (similar to my period). How can I know if the abortion is complete? and also is this fresh bleeding normal? My Gyn is out of country and I am very apprehensive of seeing a new doctor. Please help I am very scared.

Hi dear Kriti,

periods after an abortion are often irregular and unpredictable.
Incomplete abortions of a 7 weeks pregnancy normally leave no rests.
And if so, the uterus will clean itself with the periods coming.
Just be patient. All it needs is time.
