QuestionHi doctor Shan, again.
This is a follow up question,I have been to the clinic just wanted to make sure everything is ok. The doctor wanted to take a blood test. I was confused as to why a blood test when I wanted to know if my uterus was fine. The blood test showed faintly positive. the doctor continues to say I need a D & C and to be honest she made me all the more worried telling me what all must have been going on. I tried to tell her that the hormones would stay in the blood for a some time still after abortion but all that she says is if the pregnancy test shows positive it SHOWS trouble. Im in so much doubt! I even asked her to take an ultra sound but what she says is the ultra sound won't show anything since you got bleeding, and getting clots for some times indicates problem. So is this true that the ultra sound wouldn't show anything? should i just ignore her and stop worrying?

I could not find back when you took the pills and aborted.
A bloodtest makes no sense when it was less than three weeks ago.
There is no trouble; only in that docs mind.
If you are not bleeding, and there is no fever you can just wait for the next period.
The uterus cleans itself. NO D&C NEEDED.
Any D&C when done when there is no need, may cause trouble, especially in unexperienced hands.
The Ultrasound could show a lot. But obviously your doc want to earn some more money.
Give her my opinion if she asks for it.
I did abortions for over 40 years, so I know what i am talking about.
Just relax and look at your body for pregnancy signs...are your breasts still swollen or painful ?
Wait until 3 weeks after the ab and do a pregtest yourself.
No blood, just urine is OK.
Please keep me posted when your test is negative !
