QuestionI am Zoey, I'm 18. I had a medical abortion last May 3, 2012. I took 2 Misoprostol orally and 1 vaginally. After that I bled after four hours buy it stopped after 12 hours so I took 2 Misoprostol again vaginally, during that time I bled heavily after a few hours later and then I passed the fetus, by the way I was 7 weeks pregnant back then and abortion is illegal in our country. A few days later I continued bleeding but 4 days have past, I noticed that my discharge is stinks, i mean it really smells bad like a rotten animal. But on the 5th day I took Vit C cause I heard it can make contractions in your uterus then a day later after taking the Vit C I felt better and my discharge became lighter(dark brown in color) and also the bad small also lessened.
I would just like to ask if i had an infection?
And if I did I would like to ask your expert advice since I am not really that rich, I cannot afford to be in the hospital.

First, please know I am not a doctor.
If you have an infection, taking Vitamin C won't clear it up. Since it stinks, yes, you may well have an infection. Taking Misoprostol vaginally is VERY dangerous. You need to go to the doctor IMMEDIATELY and have him test you for Clostridium sordellii. If you have it, he will need to start life saving treatment immediately. You could develop toxic shock syndrome, and if you do, you have only hours to live. I don't know of a woman who has survived once symptoms develop. The fact you have smelly discharge worries me. I don't know where you got the pills, but don't ever have anything to do with the person who supplied them, not ever again.
People never ask whether they have the money if they develop a complication after abortion. It can be VERY expensive. It is totally senseless.
