Irregular Bleeding After Abortion: Causes & What to Expect

I have had an abortion on 19/03/2012 and my first period after was on 21/04/2012 but the period was normal and lasted 5 days( other than 6 days which is usual for me). But right after 12 days on 03/05/2012 I started having some period-like bleeding that lasted for only 2 days. And then again I'm having period like bleeding now on 15/05/2012..I tend to have some aching in my lower abdomen just the day before this irregular bleeding occurs. My doctor prescribed me that I can have sex after 3 weeks of my abortion and through out this time I have had 3 emergency contraceptive pills. I don't know what to do.. is it the pills that's causing this sort of problems or is it because of my abortion which I did when the fetus was only 5 weeks. I'm devastated, I really need some help as soon as possible. I am from Bangladesh.

Yes, it is the Emergency Contraception causing the irregular bleeding.  You should do a pregnancy test.  If it is negative then it is the pills.  You should start a more reliable form of contraception such as the pill which will regulate your period and lessen your stress.
